Made with FSC-certified natural beech wood, free of paint and chemical coatings, and polished only with food-grade beeswax to ensure safety for babies to chew on. The wood is hand-polished, with rounded edges and no burrs, and feels smooth as jade, avoiding the risk of scratches. The natural wood grain is clearly visible, and each block has a unique texture, increasing the natural beauty and tactile exploration fun. The colors are vibrant but odorless, and no color fading was observed after soaking for 24 hours. The colors are selected according to the Montessori color chart (red, yellow, blue, green, orange, and purple) to help babies establish basic color recognition.
This set of dominoes are great for my younger family member as u like traditional dominoes these have various colours and shapes to them which is a great way for them to learn about their colours and what each of the shapes are alongside matching them in order to learn the game itself. The dominoes set is made of wood and I love the variation of colours within the tones of the wood, the twenty eight pieces fit neatly into the storage box in lines of two by seven, which doesn’t make it large to store but a more useable and carry size. At the time of ordering the cost was £19.99 which is value for money in my personal opinion.
Excellent quality with a price tag to match - but it's a toy that will last a lifetime. Maybe even several lifetimes. Attractive and engaging, this set encourages fine motor control, puzzle solving, shape and colour recognition and hand/eye coordination but most of all, it's fun. This is how I rate my items, I hope you find it helpful:★★★★★ | Excellent product. Top quality and worth the price paid.★★★★☆ | Very good product and value for money.★★★☆☆ | Average product. Nothing wrong with it but there's better out there.★★☆☆☆ | Mediocre product or poor value for money.★☆☆☆☆ | Very poor quality product. Do not buy.
Perfect wooden dominoes set for kids. We got this to have as a bit of entertainment for kids at our wedding. They have nice contrasting colours for the different shapes that are on them as the shapes act in place of a set of numbered dots. They have a nice smooth finish to them so no worry of splintering and come in a nice, smooth wooden box as well. Overall a nice set of dominoes
The wooden domino set is a classic and simple game option. The pieces are sturdy and have a smooth finish, making them easy to handle. While the design is basic and lacks any decorative features, it serves its purpose well for gameplay. Overall, it’s a reliable and straightforward choice for both casual and traditional domino games
This is a really lovely set of dominoes. They are wooden and come with a wooden box for storage. My pre-schooler has enjoyed playing dominoes with a set of character cards, so this is a nice way to move on to something a bit more grown up. They are well presented, in the open box wrapped in plastic, and would make a lovely gift.
Lovely wooden domino matching set. Excellent for a fun session of gameplaying and it does keeps children entertained for a good bit. The pieces are well made, soft to the touch and large enough not to be choking hazard. The design is attractive for tiny hands and they can be easily cleaned if smudged with food (in this case PB&J). Would recommend.
Why 'for kids' ? This set of dominoes (which is what it is) will be much enjoyed by aduts, giving satisfaction to four of the senses. The tiles live in a smart wooden box, very well-constructed, and sit securely on their sides when 'in hand', so no problem about concealing them in hands which are losing their grip. The shapes which replace the dots are very distinct - ideal for anyone with poor sight - and the set is a pleasure to handle. Wasted on small children, but will be really appreciated by older generations.
Arrived next day after ordering this domino set is made of natural hardwood and with a very good polished finish instead of dots the pieces are painted with matching shapes of different colours so it is a good way for small children to learn coordination through play the paint is non toxic and of pastel shades the 28 pieces are stored in a well made wooden box which looks good and will last a long time overall this is a very good product at a good price I highly recommend it
A beautiful set! The wood case is beautiful and the actual dominos look great too! A nice set to have on the coffee table for if you have people over and need something to do while chatting. The older toddler likes them as blocks too.
Beautifully made, artful design makes it lovely to display as well.My daughter enjoys playing with dominoes more at this age (4) for creating random patterns or stacking. I thought this would be a nice set to teach her how to play but also would appeal to her with the various fun shapes and the subtle toned colors which are very calming to look at.Sturdy wooden box makes it easy for storage and taking on the go.
