It's nice in this day and age to have a tactile wooden game again, but i must admit that it had its moment of frustration - the top half pivots up to be the game board and it holds in place with a wooden pin in the side, and the same pin holds it closed when its flat and put away - except that there's enough slop in the mechanism that it doesn't keep it closed enough to stop the balls falling out (it opens just wide enough for them all to tip out if you're careful when carrying it and we spent more time playing find the game balls than playing 4 in a row. Also thought it was funny that the instruction say the balls are pink and sky blue... I'll leave you to check the photo to see why it amused me - it's the little things that really make the point about the quality and attention to detail.
4 in a row wooden handmade board game. This is a travel sized basic game designed for 2 players. It has an attractive oiled finish and it's well built with a smooth finish. It has a foldable design making it easy to store everything whilst in transit and it's a fun game to play albeit a bit basic compared to similar games.The build quality is excellent and the artisan design looks good, I get the impression it will last along time and could be passed down in future. The little balls are well made but you'll obviously need to keep these away from young children unless they're being supervised. Pricewise I don't think you get great value for money but other than that I have no complaints.

It's impossible to see where the balls are unless the game is at head level. The only way we could play a game was to lay our heads down on the floor. It is impossible to play on a table unless you also rest your head on the table or put the game on a stack of books or something.

This game not only looks really good, well made and it’s fully functional, the wood it’s made from itself is absolutely beautiful and it’s really finished well to give it a smooth nice to touch warm feel to it. It’s obviously hand finished and it’s really well put together and you can see if you look hard enough some of the hand sanding marks that add to the genuineness of the game. As a wood carver I think this is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship that is being sold at an incredibly low price fir the work that has gone into it👍👍👍😁😁😁
My kids and I like quality games, not some cheap plastic mindless games as seen in local supermarkets, and this brand has met our expectations. It's wood, which natural products are the best for your health, ours had no defects upon inspection, and it is travel friendly, although it is SO nice I don't think I'd want to take it out of the house lol. Great product.
Much smaller than I thought it would be. For the price expected a larger item. Not worth the trouble to pack and send back. Children would have a hard time with this .

The product itself is very good quality. But it was much smaller than I anticipated. I should have more carefully reviewed the dimensions prior to purchase. Also, the pieces (which are balls) could be very easy to lose especially with children. Overall though, still a very good and unique buy.

Extremely small and just a subpar product.
This was a gift for a family member. It was about half the size I expected. If I had had more time, i would have likely returned, but it was a gift for someone out of state and i just went with it! I do not know if they have actually used it yet.
I really wanted to love this. Bought this for my coffee table. Was smaller than I thought it would be but was a hit as a Steal the Christmas gift with the family with the theme being something you can have on coffee table. Nicely made, pieces all fit. A classy, hardier, Connect 4
This is a very small game, cute to play with. I would probably prefer it 50% bigger. Nicely made and fits together well.
Its small and easy to take on trips, It uses little dowels on the side to hold it together and its not perfect. Has some wobble to it but didn't bother me really. I do like that you can put all the little balls in it put it into the trey insert the dowels again and it is ready for travel.
