I love that you can flip these around and store them completely flat. It is such a space saver in the utensil drawer. These are beautiful teak wood tongs and need to be hand washed and air dried. My 4 year old has enough strength to use them, he just holds them closer to the front. They grip food well, especially since the ends are grooved, and are a good length. These are great tongs and I recommend them.

I appreciate the good design of these salad tongs. They fold up nicely to be stored away, and work well when flipped around and are nice and springy.

These are just as described. They have a nice spring to them, and work well for tossing and serving salad single-handedly. If you use a ceramic salad bowl, they are also less likely to chip the edge of the bowl than metal tongs. And, just as shown, they flip around to lie completely flat in a drawer. It's a very thoughtful and clever design - and pretty, too. We've been using them every night since we got them about a month ago.
I love Kentucky Springs because you can pick up your salad with one hand. These were fine, but the quality was not as good. I guess you get what you pay for because they were reasonable.

Very nice tongs. Love the wood. Received just as expected. I appreciate the one hand tool. Not only functional but beautiful and light weight. And stores nicely in my kitchen drawer.
Not impressed also thought it was for toasters. I can tell you they don’t work. Well I should say they are to big , at least for me
It works not great as the metal ones.Defenetly compact. I just think its too expensive for what it is and does. Best to just have a good metal one cover with silacon.
I bought a separate set from a different vendor that included two tongs, for less. They are almost identical! Save your money, and find the other set.

These salad tongs are made of beautiful wood and come in a box that can be easily and elegantly wrapped. I bought them as a gift so I can't say how easily they clean but I am going to get some for myself!

Love these bamboo salad tongs. Very easy to use, retrieves the last bit of lettuce. Wash by hand is the easiest bit. Stock-in your drawer or with your salad dishes.The other great use is to retrieve toast from the toaster. No more shoving a knife or whatever to get that little bit if bread or whatever out of the toaster. No more worry of electrocuting yourself or someone else. This is really ingenious engineering. Folded one way, they fold flat. Folded the other, they have a spring that holds them open.So you can store then in any utility drawer, and they unfold the other way for perfect salad tongs.Plus, they are truly beautiful.Well done!
