Just received the bowl this morning, so beans well made, just love it, will see how long will last but seems to be very good quality.
This bowl is stunning, the craftsmanship is perfect.
It's a beautiful wood and in one description it said it was acacia wood but it's a different grain than 3 other bowls I bought describing them also as acacia wood. This is very nice with a perfect finish inside and out, safe for a salad but I'm giving it for Christmas filled with cookies, candies and a box of tea bags and a gift card for them to make a salad. It makes a beautiful present for friends. I highly recommend it.
This bowl from SiamMandalay is hand-crafted in Thailand. It's looks even nicer in person than in the product photos. You can tell that a lot of care was put into making this fine bowl. It's larger than I expected. I had thought about using this as a bowl for my own personal salads, but it's more suitable for preparing salad for your whole family. You could also use it for fruit. The best part is that SiamMandalay backs it with a lifetime warranty. They say if it ever breaks, they will send you new one for free. Considering the quality and the lifetime guarantee, I think this bowl is a great deal at the current price. I highly recommend it. Just remember to only hand wash it. Don't ever put it in a dishwasher or soak it in water.
